For a while there Gionee wasn’t doing that great, after its owner had problems with the law and a trojan was also found on its phones. Now the company is back with a new device, a tablet this time, after launching a few phones. The device has just leaked via a Google Play Console listing.

The new model is dubbed Gionee M61 and comes with entry level specs. The Google Play Console listing reveals that we’re getting a Spreadtrum T610 processor here, with two ARM Cortex-A77 cores and 6 ARM Cortex-A55 cores. It’ll also be preloaded with 4 GB of RAM. The screen shows up with a 1200 x 1920 pixel resolution and we also learn that the display will have a 320 dpi density.

Android 11 is the OS of choice here and the listing also reveals a render of the machine. It will arrive with thick bezels at the top and bottom. We also get one front facing camera above the screen. The volume controls are on the right side and the Power button is at the top. We also expect features like at least a 7000 mAh battery, 5G connectivity and probably at least an 8 MP back camera and 5 MP front camera.

Expect a very low price, maybe even below $150.
