We wrote about new colors for the Surface Laptop coming up for the Core i7 version ever since July and now the full lineup of Surface Laptop models is getting it. When the device was announced, 4 hues were promised and initially all colors were limited to the Intel Core i5/256 GB version in the US.
Now all 4 Surface Laptop colors are available for preorder and order in 20 countries, ranging from New Zealand to USA and from Denmark to Taiwan. The Platinum Core i7 Surface Laptop is also coming to Japan, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Platinum is called “the heritage color” and anodization gives it a special depth and vibrance. Graphite gold is considered a more neutral approach and its shimmer is supposed to offer a “comforting glow”.
Then there’s Cobalt Blue, that draws inspiration from the sea and sky, plus nature. Finally the Burgundy is more elegant and it’s supposed to shift from soft rose to deep red as you switch lightning from inside to outdoors. The devices come with a luxurious Alcantara material covered keyboard, up to 14.5 hours of battery life and Windows 10 S, upgradable to other flavours of Win 10, for free till December 31st.
