For workers and travelers who need a mobile device to last far beyond a typical workday, FOSSiBOT’s IFA 2026 display pushed battery capacity to unusual extremes. The company showed rugged Android phones, a large-battery 5G tablet, and portable power stations, extending its outdoor-focused product range from personal devices to off-grid power.
A rugged tablet built for field use
The FOSSiBOT DT3 5G is the most relevant addition for tablet users. It pairs a 10.4-inch display with MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300 processor, 12GB of RAM, a 64MP camera, and a 21,560mAh battery. It supports 66W charging, an important inclusion given the size of that battery.
At more than 2.2 pounds, the DT3 5G is not designed as a lightweight tablet for one-handed reading or casual commuting. Its size and battery suggest a role in vehicles, job sites, camping setups, and other field scenarios where charging opportunities may be limited and a conventional consumer tablet needs more protection.
Phones that prioritize endurance over pocketability
FOSSiBOT also demonstrated its familiar rugged-phone formula: thick protected bodies, IP68/IP69K-rated designs, and battery capacities closer to dedicated power banks than mainstream smartphones. The F113 5G combines a 20,000mAh battery with a Dimensity 7050 chip, a 64MP night-vision camera, and a flashlight rated to reach up to 164 feet.
The F115 Ultra goes further into specialist tools, combining night vision with a laser rangefinder and thermal camera. Those features could be useful for inspecting equipment or identifying temperature differences in installations. At the most extreme end is the F107 Pro, whose 28,000mAh battery and large top-mounted flashlight come with a major size trade-off: the phone weighs nearly 2.2 pounds.
Alongside these heavy-duty models, FOSSiBOT displayed more conventional-looking C17 and S7 phones, plus devices with rear secondary displays for notifications and camera previews. That gives the brand a path toward everyday smartphone designs while retaining its rugged-device identity.
The battery strategy now extends beyond mobile devices
FOSSiBOT’s portable-power lineup makes its oversized-battery strategy more literal. The compact FDC300 has a 288Wh capacity, a 140W bidirectional USB-C port, and a foldable fan. The larger F3000 offers 2,048Wh of capacity, 3,000W output, and solar input of up to 1,200W.
For larger backup or RV-oriented setups, the F3600 Pro is rated for 3,840Wh and 3,600W, with expansion supported up to 11.52kWh. FOSSiBOT did not provide U.S. pricing or availability details for the products shown at IFA. The lineup appears aimed at users willing to accept considerably more bulk in exchange for endurance, protection, and power options away from an outlet.
