During the Hong Kong Electronics Fair there was an interesting tablet model, the Five Elements iFive X2, in two versions. The X2 will hit the market in June and it comes with a RK3188 main chip and 2 GB of RAM.
On board we find an 8.9 inch display with a 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution and a pixel density of 255 PPI. The design of the slate is based on magnesium alloy and it measures 8.9 mm in thickness. iFive X2 also gets a custom interface applied on top of Android, the iFive Skin experience 2.0. Specs include dual speakers, a microSD card slot, Bluetooth and WiFi and this design reminds me of a Samsung.
You should also know that we’ve got a 2 megapixel front camera and the power source here is a 7200 mAh battery. No word on the pricing or whether or not we’ll see this device in Europe or America. At the back there’s a 5 megapixel camera and frankly speaking if this is anywhere below $250, it’s a decent product.
