The Evolio brand from Romania has spawned a few interesting tablets over the past 2 years, so today we’re excited to get a new one for testing purposes. The device is dubbed Evolio X7 and it’s a $155 device with bundled Norton Security features.
This is a 7 inch quad core tablet with a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution and a Rockchip RK3188T processor clocked at 1.4 GHz. We’ve also got an IPS Super HD screen on board, 8 GB of storage and 1 GB of RAM. The first contact with the slate reveals a very slim and light unit, at 7.35 mm and 270 grams. In the box there’s a charger with microUSB jack, a USB cable, an USB on the go adapter, manual and Norton Mobile Security code.
This device integrates a 2 MP back camera, a front 0.3 MP cam as well, a microSD card slot and a 3000 mAh battery. It has WiFi and Bluetooth and comes with a mini HDMI port to round everything up. The case is solid aluminum and there’s more to this model than meets the eye. We’ll be back with a full review ASAP.
