The Evolio X6 has just arrived on our testing table and it’s a budget phablet with an 8 core MediaTek processor. This model leaked back in February and was released at the end of March this year. Its box is pretty slim and just so you know, this is a rebranded version of LTJ X3, from China.
This model is priced at $425 and it comes with a USB cable and charger that look very much like the ones of the iPhone. There are no headphones in the box and covering up the audio jack is a small metallic part, that apparently is a key to open the SIM card slots. Evolio X6 is a dual SIM phablet with a 5.5 inch Full HD display and with an IPS panel behind. Under the hood there’s an octa core 1.7 GHz Mediatek processor, that helps it run Android 4.2. There’s also 16 GB of storage, 2 GB of RAM, a 13 MP camera with flash and an 8 megapixel front camera with flash. The battery is a 3150 mAh and the Evolio X6 measures 7.8 mm, so it’s reasonably slim. It weighs 180 grams, comes with 2 years of warranty and feels pretty premium in my palm. We’ll be back with a full review, especially with benchmarks and camera samples.
