The Evolio Aria Mini is yet another product from Romania, an affordable 8 inch slate, the likes of which we’ve seen a lot lately. We’ve had similar models from Allview and E-Boda, two other Eastern European brand tablets. Let’s see what this model brings!
So, we’re dealing with a slate dubbed the Evolio Aria Mini and available in a WiFi only version, that costs $242, or the $317 3G version. The device runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and packs an 8 inch display. Inside the box we find its USB cable, USB adapter and charger, plus the 5 year warranty documents. The device relies on a Rockchip dual core 1.5 GHz processor and it supports a 1024 x 768 pixel resolution.
The slate measures 9.5 mm in thickness, weighs 450 grams and packs a 2 megapixel camera at the back, plus a 0.3 megapixel cam at the front. There’s also 8 GB of storage available, a microSD card slot, 1 GB of RAM and a 4500 mAh battery. We’ve also got Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS, microUSB, mini HDMI on the tablet and inside there’s a quad core Mali 400 GPU. We’ll be back in a few days with more details about the product.
