Ematic is a budget Android tablet market that we’ve covered before and they have an interesting new device, that features a kickstand. The new slate packs a 13.3 inch display and the pic below shows the kickstand clearly.
The product’s full name is the Ematic Cinema Tab ETH102, at least in a FCC listing. You can purchase it from Adorama for $300 and other retailers for $350. The specs list includes a 720p display, a 1.6 GHz Rockchip RK3066 ARM Cortex A9 dual core processor and 1 GB of RAM. There’s also 8 GB of built in storage and a 1000 mAh battery (37 Whr).
There’s a microSD card slot on board, 2 USB ports, WiFi and the OS of choice is Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. The retailers claim that the product weighs 2.7 pounds, which is a bit heavy, especially for an Android slate. Ematic Cinema Tab is expected to get around 5 hours of battery life, which is good enough for about 2 movies.
