It is the Chinese market that has taken with a heavy assault the mobile market, bringing so many devices that it is hard to pick one that is worthy of investing in. Here we also have a bunch of clones and devices that offer flagship specs for about half the price or less.

From China comes the brand Colorful, that has only recently announced a 9.7-inch device using a quad-core chip and priced at only about $180. Now the manufacturer is ready for another release, this time one that looks very familiar and that is made as an alternative to one a lot more expensive offer from Apple.

The Colorful Colorfly CT781 is made as a cheap alternative to the Apple iPad Mini and retains about the same aspects of the design. The tablet offers a 7.85-inch display and is based on the latest Allwinner Technology A31 quad-core chip. Its build quality is not to be underestimated as it features a G+G reinforced panel from AGC Display Glass. The device that comes with Android OS offers 1GB of RAM and PowerVR SGX544 MP2 GPU, for a price that is yet to be unveiled.
