It appears that following Xiaomi’s much appreciated Mi Air, more Chinese firms are making laptops. Such is the case with Chuwi, that debuted the LapBook, a modelavailable for pre-sale at $241. It ships after November 5th and it started racking up preorders on Gearbest.com.
This is actually a 2 in 1 device, one that combines a tablet with a laptop. Chuwi LapBook is a 15.6 incher with the case size being actually the one of a conventional 14.1 inch laptop. The bezel and keyboard have been compressed and the weight of the product is a mere 1.8 KG. Here’s the specs list of the newcomer:
- Display: 15.6 inch, Full HD
- CPU: Intel X5 Series, quad core, 64 bit/ Intel Cherry Trail Z8300
