Chuwi W88S is yet another tablet from China, a model that costs $114 and comes with a quad core processor. The device relies on a 7.9 inch display with a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels and also uses a Rockchip processor.
Said processor is the Rockchip RK3188 quad core unit and other specs include a 10 point multitouch display, 16 GB of built in storage and 1 GB of RAM. There’s also Bluetooth, WiFi, a G sensor and a rear 2 megapixel camera. The battery is a 5000 mAh unit and the shell of the case involves aluminum plating.
The Chuwi W88S provides 8 hours of battery life and its CPU is made with the 28 nm manufacturing process. The CPU relies on a Cortex A9 architecture and uses the Mali 400 GPU. Its RAM is of the DDR3 type and screen is an IPS panel with tempered glass structure and great viewing angles. There’s also HDMI and Android Jelly Bean is present on the slate.
