After the device was confirmed here and we were wondering if it comes with Windows or Android, the Chuwi VX8 3G tablet has been finally released and all the details we want to know are out. This is a 64 bit tablet that is available either with Android or Windows 8, depending on the client’s choice.
It appears that the Win 8 model is primarily promoted, as shown by the image above. This model packs an 8 inch IPS display with a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution and 400 cd/m brightness, as well as OGS technology. Internally, there’s a Bay Trail quad core Z3735D processor, as well as 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage. The VX8 3G has a pretty solid build, 5 mm borders and a waistline of just 7.5 mm.
Chuwi VX8 3G also has anti fingerprint protection applied to its screen and its CPU is clocked at 1.83 GHz. It’s strange to see it has 1 GB of RAM, since I was pretty sure it would come with 2 GB. It relies on a 5000 mAh battery and has a dual camera setup, with a 2 MP front shooter and 5 MP back camera, that manages to record Full HD 60 FPS video. An Intel 3G chip is built in for 3G Internet access.
Would you pick Windows 8.1 or the Android version?
