Chuwi is preparing the debut of a new 2 in 1 tablet, a model with a 10.8 inch screen dubbed Chuwi Vi10 Plus. This device is intended to be a Surface 3 rival and it’ll come with the Windows 10/Remix OS combo.
We’re dealing here with a model that has a Full HD resolution and 3:2 aspect, as well as 450 nits of brightness. Inside we find the Intel Atom Cherry Trail X5 processor and there’s also Intel HD Graphics Gen 8 in the mix. Two versions of the device will be available, one with 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage and one with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage.
The former will have Remix OS 2.0 preinstalled and the second a dual OS setup with Windows 10 and Remix OS 2.0. Powering up the newcomer is a 8400 mAh Li-Po battery, fueled via USB Type C port. There’s a detachable magnetic docking keyboard in the mix as well and even a Chuwi HiPen H2 stylus, but those are sold separately.
This model weighs 686 grams and it’ll launch this month for a yet unrevealed price.
