Chuwi debuted another interesting laptop today, dubbed Chuwi Lapbook SE and it’s not a half bad product. For the price of just $270, you get a Gemini Lake machine with a 13.3 inch screen. We have all the details below, but first of all you can preorder the device on Gearbest starting next week.

This is a thin, light and low power laptop that weighs just 3.2 pounds. It measures 0.6 inches in thickness and uses a 13.3 inch Full HD screen. Chuwi Lapbook SE has a backlit keyboard, four speakers and relies on an Intel Celeron N4100 quad core Gemini Lake processor. The notebook packs 4 GB of RAM, 32 GB of eMMC storage and also a 128 GB SSD.

The price mentioned above, $270 only applies between August 13th and the 20th of the month. After that time period, the price will increase to $300. A good piece of news is that you can also add an extra higher capacity M.2 SSD if you want more storage.

Connectivity also hits the spot, with two USB 3.0 Type-A ports, as well as a HDMI and a 3.5 mm audio jack. There’s a microSD card slot in the mix here and dual microphones with support for Cortana. Video calls will be performed using a 2 megapixel webcam. The laptop relies on a 33.7 Wh battery, which Chuwi says will be enough for up to 8 hours of run time.

This notebook also provides 802.11 ac WiFi support and Bluetooth 4.0. Available just in Gray initially, the device runs Windows 10 and has Intel UHD Graphics 600.

You can get it for $270.
