There’s a new Chuwi tablet coming in August, the Chuwi HiPad Pro, which may just prove to be a pretty good seller. It’s a midrange device, perhaps even an entry level/budget one, that comes with a 10.8 inch screen.

There’s also a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 CPU inside and support for a stylus. Debuting on August 3rd, the device is currently listed on the AliExpress Store, with that exact delivery date. It’s also where we learn about its specs, such as a 10.8 inch IPS LCD panel with a 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution and slim bezels. Inside we find a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 CPU, paired with 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128 GB of storage (UFS 2.1).

The Chuwi HiPad Pro is powered by a rather large 7000 mAh battery with support for Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0. We also have a 3.5 mm audio jack and an USB-C port for power and data transfer. At the back we have an 8 megapixel shooter, while at the front there’s a 5 megapixel camera. The device has a 90% screen to body ratio, a 6.9 mm thickness and 480 grams weight.

It runs on Android 11 and supports the company’s H7y stylus, with 4096 levels of pressure. You can also purchase an optional Bluetooth keyboard cover separately.
