Chuwi is one of the Chinese tablet makers with some of the most affordable tablets out there. They usually come with very large screens, big batteries and more often than not keyboards and other accessories. Today a new Chuwi tablet becomes available, the Chuwi Hi10 Go, a Windows tablet with Celeron CPU.
Priced at $300 and up, the device was unveiled in March and only now becomes available in the stores. This is one of the first tablets that features the low power Jasper Lake processor, which is supposed to offer a 35% performance boost compared to the previous gen chips like the Intel Gemini Lake Refresh ones. Chuwi Hi10 Go is a 10.1 inch tablet with a 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution, 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage.
It runs on Windows 10 and can be bought from Aliexpress for $300 and up. The device uses an IPS LCD touchscreen display with 16:10 aspect and it comes with optional support for a keyboard cover, plus digital pen with support for 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity. The Celeron N4500 CPU is a 10 nm chip with a 6 watt TDP and clocked at 1.1 GHz. It does allow burst speeds up to 2.8 GHz.
It also has Intel UHD integrated graphics, stereo speakers, 3.5 mm audio jack, two USB-C ports, a micro HDMI 1.4 port, a microSD card reader and a set of 5 pogo pins at the bottom to use with the keyboard cover. There’s also a main 5 MP camera, a front 1 MP shooter all of them crammed within an 8.5 mm thick body that weighs 600 grams. Chuwi promises up to 6 hours of battery life from the 22.42 Wh unit.
