Gigabyte just unveiled two new products at CES 2012, both based on the new Intel Cedar Trail Atom processors. Gigabyte S1081 features a 10.1 inch multitouch display and a 500GB HDD, while the other product introduced is the Gigabyte T1006M convertible notebook, that can be seen in the photo at the end of the article.

Back to the tablet, the Gigabyte S1081 packs a USB 3.0 port and there’s also a SSD version of it available. As far as connectivity goes, you get WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, HDMI and VGA, with a matching USB keyboard and carry case also unveiled by the tablet maker. On the bezel of the device there’s an optical trackpad, plus a 1.3 megapixel webcam. Moving on to the Gigabyte T1006M, this one features a 10.1 inch capacitive multitouch display with a 1366 x 768 pixel resolution.

Connectivity on this convertible device includes USB 3.0 and 3.5G WWAN and Gigabyte praises the battery life generated by the 6 cell battery on this unit. No info on price tag or launch date, but they’re coming, rest assured…
