CES 2011 starts on January 6th in Las Vegas and it’s going to rock as the beginning of a year ruled by dual core tablets and smartphones. Among the great brands that will take part in the event there’s ASUS, that recently teased the Eee Pad and Eee Slate ahead of CES.

Shown in the images is the USB 3.0 port incorporated in a keyboard panel, attached to a touchscreen display. Android buttons are also in the mix, at the top and this looks more like a tablet PC with a pivoting display, than a regular slate. The other device shown in these images seems to feature a sliding keyboard (as shown below).

Is this the answer that ASUS prepared for the rumored Samsung Gloria sliding tablet?
