Many have seen the new Barnes & Noble tablet as the Amazon Kindle Fire killer, but we barely had an idea of what this product is about, up until now. The full list of details regarding this product has leaked and you’ll find every detail extremely interesting.

First things first, the product Nook Tablet will come on November 16th with a $249 price tag. This is a 7 inch device with a VividView IPS color touchpad display, supporting a 1024 x 600 pixel resolution and using a dual core OMAP4 1.2GHz processor as its brain. There’s also 1GB of RAM on board, 16GB of internal memory, a microSD card slot, WiFi and a battery that provides 8 hours of battery life.

This slate supports formats such as ePUB, PDF, XLS, DOC, PPT, TXT and more. The problem with the product is that it’s too similar to the Nook Color, especially when it comes to functionality. Even B&N claims that this device offers “everything the Nook Color does”. Well, at least the device has twice the RAM and storage of the Kindle Fire, so I’ll give them that much.
