We’re not surprised when we see leaks from components makers, but when the likes of Best Buy leak a future tablet’s, that’s really something. The Nexus 7 2 has been leaking a lot lately and now we get one more piece of information, straight out of Best Buy.
It appears that the device will be available on July 30th, with a price tag of $229, if the leaked ad above is to be believed. Seeing how Google has an event scheduled this Wednesday, it makes sense for the device to debut a week later. The flyer shown here is scheduled to run next Sunday, on July 28th and as you can see, it also confirms the display resolution of the tablet to be 1920 x 1200 pixels.
By the way, the $229 price tag applies to the 16 GB model and the default wallpaper on the slate in the flyer is the same as the one used by the Nexus 10. Does this mean we’re getting Android 4.2 and not 4.3 as expected? Will only Moto X have this software reserved for the debut day? We’ll see in a few days!
