Kmart fans rejoice! There’s a very cheap Android tablet coming to the Florida-based shop of your choice, packing an array of interesting specs. We’re talking about the Augen Android 2.1 tablet, going for $150 and featuring a 7 inch display, WiFi, 2GB of storage and 256MB of RAM. It’ll also provide access to the Android Market.
The device will hit the stores later this week and we’re not sure if it’ll also be available in Kmart’s online store. Aside from the 7 inch tablet, we learn that Augen has readied the $89 TheBook e-reader, featuring a similar 7 inch LCD. This device can be seen in action below, showcasing the features of the Linux OS it runs.
