The entire ASUS ZenPad series has reached Taiwan, which is a good occasion to get another look at these models and check out their prices. The news comes after some of the models in the series got listed in USA. Now let’s see the details we got about these slates.
ASUS ZenPad S 8.0 came in the WiFi only version and it relies on an Intel Atom Z3580 processor, 4 GB of RAM and an 8 inch screen with a 2048 x 1536 pixel resolution. It has an USB type C connector and will be sold from August. In Taiwan it will be priced at $289. ZenPad 8.0 will be available in WiFi and LTE versions, with the former using an Intel Atom x3-C3200, while the latter uses a Qualcomm octa core Snapdragon 615 chipset.
The slates come with an 8 inch 1280 x 800 pixel display, 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage. The ZenPad 8.0 gets a variety of optional accessories, like a colourful back cover, a special charging back cover, a speaker-based case with boosted acoustics and finally the price tag is $160 for the WiFi model, while the LTE version costs $289. We’ve also got a bigger model listed, the ZenPad 10, also with WiFi or LTE.
The screen offers a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution, 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of storage and there’s a suggested starting price of $225. ZenPad C 7.0 brings an Intel Atom X3 processor, 3G connectivity and a 7 inch 1024 x 600 pixel display, 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of storage. The price tag is $128 for this unit and to me this model feels more like a derived FonePad.
