ASUS promised at the end of September that it will start rolling out soon the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update for the ASUS Transformer Pad Infinity TF700 tablet and now it’s happening. Just hours ago, the owners of one of the most powerful Android tablets on the market started to get their share of Jelly Bean.
In the meantime you should also know that Transformer Pad and Prime owners are getting the same treatment in this time period. Android 4.1.1 is what you can get on the Infinity Pad and since this is a gradual rollout, some users are reporting that they got the update and some didn’t. Reasons to be interested in the Transformer Pad Infinity? Plenty, from the Full HD screen to the quad core CPU inside, the beautiful and very slim design, plus the keyboard dock, that expands the battery life to about 15 hours.
Now with JB you also get Google Now, a speed bump thanks to Project Butter, new widget options, a new notification system and more improvements. Did you perform the update? Just how fast is your device now, seeing it was pretty fast initially?
