The ASUS Transformer Pad Infinity 700 is the best Android tablet right now, just like we said in our review and now it’s preparing to conquer the USA. It has just been spotted at Office Depot in stock, just days before being released officially in the country.
The launch will take place on July 16th and the device seems to be priced at $499.99. The selling point here is the brilliant screen, a 1,920 x 1,200 pixel 10.1 inch unit that’s very bright and has great viewing angles. The device runs Android 4.0 ICS on top of a Tegra 3 CPU, slightly upgraded from the Prime. It also has 32GB of storage, WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0 and a great, slim metallic design. There’s also a micro HDMI port on board and I’m guessing that the price here only applies to the tablet on its own, without keyboard dock.
The keyboard dock brings an extra USB 2.0 port, touchpad, QWERTY keyboard, SD card slot and adds 5-6 hours of battery life to the already available 10-11 hours of the tablet. Are you getting one? I would…
