It was about a week ago that a fresh version of the ASUS PadFone Infinity got spotted in a benchmark. It was dubbed PadFone Infinity A86 ad seemed to feature a Snapdragon 800 CPU. Today the device resurfaces, with official certification.
The product, codenamed T004 has appeared on the NCC website, with a Full HD display and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. This model is LTE/W-CDMA and GSM compatible and it supports GSM 900/1800 MHz frequency and W-CDMA 2100 MHz frequency bands. Detailed specs are not yet clear, but the device is expected to be somewhat of a follow-up to the PadFone Infinity A80.
The A80 was one of the most praised devices at MWC 2013, but sadly it won’t reach international availability, since Eastern Europe for example won’t get it. Now, with a PadFone Infinity 2 coming, we get a little glimmer of hope that this model may reach new regions.
