It appears that the ASUS MeMo Pad HD 7 tablet got a dual SIM version in China, one that changes some of the specs of the version we tested a while ago. The codename of the product is ASUS K00S and this model already leaked on the web a few times over the past week.

The MeMo Pad comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad core 1.2 GHz processor, 1 GB of RAM and Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. It also packs an IPS 7 inch screen with a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution and the same cameras as the original: 5 MP at the back and 0.3 MP at the front. WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0 are obviously on board, as well as a 3G modem.

There will be 2 versions of the MeMo Pad HD 7 dual SIM, a 4 GB one and an 8 GB one. The reason for this lower capacity is to tackle a more aggressive pricing. The price of the device in China is $215 and we can’t say if it will come to other markets or not. As you can see in the source link, there’s a special lid covering up the microSD and dual SIM slots, in line with the rest of the plastic body.
