Yet another ASUS device from the Memo series has leaked via benchmarks and this one is dubbed ASUS ME302C. We’re dealing with a model spotted in GLBenchmark and described as an “EeePad”, a series that hasn’t had any new members for a while now.

The product will most likely debut at Computex 2013 in Taipei, taking place in June. The ASUS ME302C could hit the market with the official name MeMo Pad Smart ME302C, so it’s going to be the follow-up of the 10 inch Tegra 3 slate MeMo Pad Smart ME301T. The GLBenchmark test that leaked shows some of the features of the new model, including a Full HD display (1920 x 1200 pixels), Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean as the OS and an x86 1.6 GHz processor, as well as PowerVR SGX 544 MP graphics.

Inside there should be an Intel Atom Z2560 processor from the Clover Trail+ family, one that offered great benchmark results on the Lenovo K900. The thing is that such CPUs are intended for smartphones only, so in the end the ASUS ME302C may be a handset?! Maybe it’s a phablet to cross both segments on the roadmap? ASUS should make a phablet at some point…
