Today, the Taiwanese manufacturer AsusTEK announced the launch of a new mid-range tablet called ASUS MeMo Pad 10 (ME103K), device that will arrive on the market in two color variations, more precisely in white and black.

Asus MeMo Pad 10 (ME103K) brings a 10.1-inch WXGA LCD display with a 1.280 x 800 pixels resolution, a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro (APQ8064) processor clocked at 1.5 GHz, 1 GB of RAM, 8/16 or 32 GB space of internal storage, a 3-megapixel/5-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing sensor.

We also get Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, the Android 4.4 KitKat operating system and a 5.100 mAh battery. According to the press release, this tablet will be available for about $252.

  • These new Asus tablets are cheap enough but wide bezels are very unattractive. Asus made the Nexus 7 too with these chunky wide bezels. I wouldn’t want one even at a low price.
