Here’s yet another quad core tablet with a Rockchip processor, one priced sub $200: the Yuandao N80 model. Yuandao N80 is an 8 inch tablet, going for $170 and packing a quad core Rockchip RK3188 processor.
The slate’s specs features 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of storage and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean as the OS. The 8 inch display supports a 1024 x 768 pixel resolution and it’s also lighter than the Cube tablet, another model with the same CPU, but with a bigger display. This product weighs 15 ounces and measures 0.4 inches in thickness.
Recent benchmarks ran on this CPU, but on the Cube tablet show that the RK3188 processor is one of the fastest ARM Cortex A9 chips on the market, so if you get a tablet like this it’s actually a very good deal. However, with this being a Chinese tablet, don’t expect any solid quality assurance and technical support.
