After the Archos GamePad, the French company also started offering other products from its lineup, such as the Archos 97 Titanium and Archos 80 Titanium, the ones that were unveiled at CES 2013. Both new models have reached the States and the 97 unit is priced at $250, while the Archos 80 costs $170.

The devices have a tendency of resembling the iPads, since they combine aluminum and glossy plastic to create a premium feel of the slates. The Archos 97 Titanium HD retails for the price mentioned above on Amazon and it features a 9.7 inch 2048 x 1536 IPS display, that looks gorgeous. There’s also a 1.6 GHz dual core A9 CPU on board with quad core Mali 400 GPU, 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of storage.

To that we add a microSD card slot and a 5 megapixel rear camera, plus a 2 megapixel front shooter. The Archos 80 Titanium has a bunch of specs in common with the higher end unit, but it adopts an 8 inch format and a 1024 x 768 pixel resolution, plus a 2 megapixel rear camera. Both models run Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and sport 4:3 aspect ratios. Amazon purchase happens here and here.
