The Archos 101 XS2 is a GEN 11 tablet that was made official by its maker at IFA 2013, that has yet to debut in stores. Till that happens we’ll have to do with yet another leak of an user manual coming from FCC.
The quick start guide is a multilingual one and sadly it doesn’t offer too many details on the specs. Well, at least we know the device will be bundled with a keyboard cover called CoverBoard. This accessory looks very, very much like the one supposed with the Goclever Orion 101 tablet, that we unboxed recently.
The pics also show us the charger, that seems way too big for a modern device. These images also show that the as far as design goes, the device looks pretty much the same as the predecessor. We’ve heard this device will come with a 10.1 inch 1280 x 800 pixel display, a Rockchip RK3188 SoC quad core Cortex A9 CPU, ARM Mali 400 GPU and 2 GB of RAM.
There should also be 16 GB of flash storage on board, a microSD card slot, a mini HDMI port and Android 4.2.2 as the OS. Expect a price tag of 269 euros, with the CoverBoard included.
