Amazon unveiled a new tablet over the past 24 hours, the Fire Max 11, which is its most powerful slate yet. It features an 11 inch touchscreen with a 2000 x 1200 pixel resolution. On board we also find a powerful octa core processor and all specs are fully detailed below.
The processor is a MediaTek MTK8188J, together with 4 GB of RAM, 64 or 128 GB of expandable storage. The battery life can reach up to 14 hours and the device also features a fingerprint scanner embedded into the Power button. Amazon Fire Max 11 ships with a 9W charger in the box, which needs about 4 hours for a full charge.
There’s also a 15W adapter, which you can buy separately and it reduces the charger to 3 and a half hours. Specs include a pair of 8 megapixel cameras, one at the front and one at the back side. There’s also support for Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3 and dual Dolby Atmos speakers. Fire Max 11 is available on preorder right now, starting at $229 a pop.
It ships next month with accessories such as a keyboard case which attaches via pogo pins and a stylus. The full bundle is priced at $329.99. These are prices with lockscreen ads and without them the price grows to $244 for the tablet and $344 for the full bundle. There’s also a bundled 3 month trial of Microsoft 365 Personal, which turns to $6.99 a month afterwards.
