Here’s an odd pairing: an OLED screen tablet with an older gen CPU: the Snapdragon 660. This device is the Alldocube iPlay 60, that packs a 10.5 inch screen with a 2K resolution and a modest 6000 mAh battery.
This affordable slate packs a 10.5 inch Super AMOLED display, with a 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution, 287 PPI and 105% NTSC color gamut for vivid and accurate visuals. There’s also On Cell technology and an oleophobic coating for improved touch sensitivity and fewer smudging. The AMOLED panel reduces blue light for a more comfortable extended use.
Inside we find the good old Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 octa core processor, together with an Adreno 512 GPU, plus 4 GB of RAM. Storage options are 128 or 256 GB, plus a microSD card slot. The tablet runs on Android 13, but there are some areas of the official website, that mention Android 12. Camera-wise, we get an 8 megapixel shooter with autofocus for casual photography and maybe some document scans.
There’s a 5 megapixel selfie shooter upfront, good enough for video calls and virtual meetings. That slate has a 6000 mAh battery, with 18W fast charging via USB-C. There’s also dual SIM 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi dual band, and it all measures 7.3 mm in thickness and weighs 485 grams. There are dual speakers here and a 3.5 mm audio jack.
Price is below $250.
