Alcatel has just launched a new tablet in India, the A3 10 model, that offers a 10.1 inch screen and cellular features. This model has a 10.1 inch 1280 x 800 pixel display and offers 4G LTE, as well as voice calling.
Priced at $155, the slate is powered by a quad core MediaTek 8735B processor and it runs on Android 7.0 Nougat. There’s a 5 MP rear camera here and a 2 MP front shooter as well. On the acoustics front, we get dual speakers with Arkamsys audio and the device offers ergonomic design, thanks to a 3D textured back side. There’s a 4600 mAh battery inside, promising up to 18 hours of talk time and a battery life of up to 7 hours with a single charge.
Other specs include 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of storage, a microSD card slot and everything is packed inside an 8.95 mm thick shell. The device weighs 465 grams and also offers WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, AGPS and USB OTG. Alcatel A3 10 is available in India in hues like Volcano Black and it’s sold exclusively by Flipkart. Interestingly, that retailer lists the product as the Alcatel Pixi 5.
The UI seems slightly customized from the stock Android.
