Ainol is a company that we hear about almost as often as other Asian counterparts, like Oppo, Onda, Cube and more. Well, they have a new tablet out, one that costs 229 euros and packs a Retina Display within its specs.
We’re dealing here with a 9.7 inch IPS LCD with a 2048 x 1536 pixel resolution and inside there’s a quad core 1.5 GHz processor, as well as 2 GB of RAM. We’ve got a 5 megapixel camera at the back and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean as the operating system here. Ainol Novo Spark 9 is the name of the product, that incorporates a 2 megapixel shooter upfront and the usual micro USB and micro HDMI ports.
The battery here is hugely impressive, a 10.000 mAh unit and the whole thing weighs 642 grams. Also impressive is the thickness of the slate, with a waistline of 6.10 mm. The device seems to pack an aluminum case and the facade is all plastic and gloss.
