Apple has finally got what it wanted: an injunction of preliminary sales against Samsung in Australia, that means it will block the Galaxy Tab 10.1 from being sold locally. This forces the Korean company to either wait for the 2012 trial or give up selling the device locally.

The decision came after the court’s decision that Samsung infringed on two patents from Apple, according to SMH. Samsung had previously informed the court before the decision that a potential injunction could lead to a cancelation of the Galaxy Tab 10.1 in Australia. The South Korean company promises to retaliate and reminds everyone that Apple is violating the Samsung wireless technology patent with the iPhone 4S.

There’s already a cross claim on that account filed on September 16 2011 with the Federal Court of Australia, New South Wales. Friday is the day when both judging companies will fight each other in court again, according to Bloomberg. The judge will rule either that Samsung can release a tweaked Galaxy Tab 10.1 that dodges Apple patents or… it simply doesn’t have permission to sell the product.
