Ladies and gentleman prepare for landing…  in the quad core zone. We’ve heard so much about the ASUS Eee Pad Transformer 2 that we almost consider it an available product right now. This tablet has now surfaced with a November 7th launch date and a 537 quid price tag.

The follow-up to the hugely successful Eee Pad Transformer comes with a quad core Tegra 3 (Kal El) processor, that we’ve heard has been delayed because of some performance problems. Details from the retailer’s site also include stuff such as 32GB of storage, 1GB of RAM and a 10.1 inch display, plus Android 3.x Honeycomb.

LambdaTek is the one with the premiere here, saying that the in stock date is November 7th and an unveiling is expected on the same week. Let’s see if someone at ASUS reacts… Last we heard, the company’s CEO Jerry Shen said that the price of the new tablet will be around $499 and that the product will launch by the year end.
