ABC News claims that parts for the upcoming Apple Tablet are on the move, with only two weeks ahead of the supposed debut of the iSlate. We remind you that Apple has an official event scheduled on January 27th, so that might be the perfect opportunity to launch the new product.

As far as its parts are concerned, touchscreens are already shipping, specially from Cupertino partner Wintek, but also Taiwanese company TPK Solutions. Casings are made by AVY Precision Technology and they’ll go into production, too, say the same sources.

It seems that Apple Tablet’s cases will start production in February, so a second quarter launch seems more likely right now. While spokespeople of all the involved companies refuse to comment on these speculations, what’s certain is that we’re approaching the unveiling of the tablet, whenever that is.
