The Olivetti Olipad is an Italian tablet that we’ve heard about before, both in the 100 and 110 flavor. This time the Olipad 110 model appears in a hands-on session, complete with a detailed analysis of the slate. This model runs Android 3.1 Honeycomb and you can check it out in the video below, but keep in mind that it’s in Italian.

The hardware of this device is pretty standard for a Honeycomb unit: dual core Tegra 2 1GHz CPU, 10 inch display, front and rear cameras plus 16GB of internal memory and 1GB of RAM. Pricing is around $549 and the launch should go down in July, but at this cost the model isn’t much of a rival for devices like the Asus Eee Transformer.

We also have to mention that the Olivetti Olipad 110 comes with HDMI out, a mini USB slot, a 5MP camera at the back and stereo speakers. The 30 pin connector at the bottom points towards compatibility with some sort of dock.
