Two times has Huawei teased us with its upcoming MediaPad tablet, that’s now official. Also, this is a world premiere, since it’s the very first Honeycomb 3.2 model out there. Here’s what the 7 inch model looks like:

This Android 3.2 slate brings the same features as those of a Honeycomb 3.1 unit, except some customization for 7 inch use. The MediaPad measures 10.5mm in thickness, packs a 217 ppi IPS capacitive touchscreen, GPS, a 1.3 megapixel front camera and a 5MP camera unit at the back. As far as connectivity goes you get WiFi and HSPA+ 14.4Mbps and the battery should provide 6 hours of functioning time.

The brain of the Huawei MediaPad is a dual core 1.2GHz chip made by Qualcomm and if you’re wondering about the launch, expect this model in the US in Q3 2011. This product weighs around 390 grams, making it one of the lightest tablet models out there. MediaPad is capable of full HD 1080p playback and HD video recording, plus it brings a HDMI port.

The storage is provided by 8GB of internal memory and a microSD card slot. This certainly sounds like  a very hot product and we’re looking forward to hear a price for it.
