Wishing for a below $500 tablet? Well, you’re about to get your wish, as the Vizio VTAB1008 tablet has just hit the FCC and this $349 tablet is getting closer to shipping time. Vizio is a company that has been showcasing its tablet plans at CES 2011 in January, but since then we haven’t heard anything more.
The VTAB1008 was spotted this week in Walmart’s system, so that’s how we know about the $349 pricing. No info about the specs for now, other than the usual WiFi, Bluetooth and HDMI and it turns out that the maker of the product is holding back info on the filing until August 30th. Is that the launch day perhaps?
