Intel has great plans for this year’s Computex, promising no less than 10 new tablets, some of them even based on MeeGo and Honeycomb. Right now, Nvidia Tegra is everyone’s favorite when it comes to tablet CPU, but Intel still hopes to penetrate the market and make a difference.
Navin Shenoy, Intel general manger for Asia Pacific said that over 35 tablets with Intel chipsets should be coming this year. We guess that the Oak Trail CPU will be the special guest of Computex 2011, that starts on May 31st and could bring us some very interesting devices to rival the iPad 2, Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and Motorola Xoom.
Will Intel also showcase an in-house made slate?
