Lenovo has a new gaming tablet incoming and this one is said to sport everything and the kitchen sink. We’re dealing with a model that sports both an OLED screen and 5G connectivity. This means that gaming on the go will be a reality. The device is said to be called Lenovo Legion Y700 Infinite.
Lenovo already launched a Legion tablet this year, the Y700 Gen 5 model, in China, but without cellular connectivity. Now there’s a new gaming tablet, that will ofer an OLED display, an upgrade over the IPS panel on the Y700 Gen 5. The device will offer support for dual SIM standby and one of the SIMs will be an eSIM. The company also claims that the gaming tablet supports the N79 band, which is a high speed 5G mid band, known for faster data rates and lower latency.

There’s also another key cellular feature, known as multi antenna distributed design. This means that there are multiple antennae surrounding the body of the tablet, so you won’t cover them with your hands. The reception will stay strong regardless of the way the device is held. There’s a punch hole on the screen now, which is something that the predecessor didn’t have. The Y700 2026 launched globally as the Legion Tab Gen 5, priced at $699 , so I’m expecting a name change here as well.
Perhaps an IFA 2026 debut will happen.
