Lenovo’s IdeaPad Duet 5i Windows tablet is now available and we’re dealing with a special device here, a 2 in 1 machine that sports a 12.3 inch screen. It also comes with a low power Intel Alder Lake CPU and we have the details below.

This is by no means fresh meat, as the product was announced in February and now it’s up for purchase in USA, Hong Kong and Singapore. In the US the only model available is a Best Buy exclusive, that’s priced at $790 and relies on an Intel Core i3-1215U processor, with 2 performance cores, 4 efficiency cores and Intel UD Graphics. There’s also 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of SSD storage. That’s just the starting model. We also have a higher powered Core i5 version, with an Intel Core i5-1235U processor inside or an Intel Core i7-1255U CPU, 16 GB of RAM and a 512 GB SSD.

Lenovo also mentioned at some point back in early 2022 that it was thinking about offering an Intel Pentium 8505 processor model, but it seems to have canned it. Other details about this 2 in 1 include the LPDDR4X RAM inside, which is soldered to the mainboard, which means you’re not going to do upgrades anytime soon. The storage is user-replaceable and we’re dealing with a M.2 2242 PCie Gen 4 SSD. The specs list also includes these:

  • 5 MP front camera with IR for face unlock
  • 5 MP back camera
  • 50 Wh battery
  • 65 W power adapter
  • Wi-Fi 6E
  • Bluetooth 5.0
  • 3.5 mm audio jack
  • two USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C ports

You can also get a detachable Bluetooth keyboard and the Lenovo Active Pen 3, sold separately.
