After a huge series of leaks, that lead us to learn all of its specs, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite is finally official. This is a budget entry level tablet, with an 8.7 inch TFT display and a rather modest MediaTek CPU. The device is meant for video watching, minor gaming, web browsing and videocalls.
Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite comes with an 8.7 inch TFT LCD display with a 1340 x 800 pixel resolution. It’s made of aluminum and it comes in gray or silver. Also, it’ll be sold in two versions: WiFi and 4G. These two come with Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, 3.5 mm audio jack, a USB-C 2.0 port, which is used to charge a 5100 mAh battery at 15W. Inside we find the octa core Helio P22T processor, plus 3 or 4 GB of RAM and 32 or 64 GB of storage. We also have a microSD card slot.
This is a rather compact slate, with a 371 gram weight and measuring 8 mm in thickness. Upfront we find a 2 MP shooter, while at the back rests an 8 MP one. We didn’t forget about GPS, Glonass, Galileo and BDS for global positioning. Tab A7 Lite runs on Android 11 with One UI 3.1 on top and when it comes to music, you can use stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support. Buyers also get access to Samsung TV Plus, a streaming service that shows 160 programs, like TV shows, movies, documentaries and more.
There are also accessories, like a Book Cover case and Clear Cover case. The price starts at $200 for the WiFi version and goes to $250 for the 4G one.
