Samsung Galaxy Tab S5 keeps leaking ahead of a presumed launch that will take place in August, close to the Galaxy Note 10 one. We’ve already seen some leaks about it, concerning a Snapdragon 855 processor and now there’s also a leak about a bundled S Pen.
This will definitely be a flagship tablet, judging by the specs, perhaps more so compared to its predecessors. It was listed on GeekBench, with the model number SM-T865 and it’s expected to also receive a brand new keyboard, type cover and stylus. There’s already a bunch of 2019 Samsung tablets going around, like the midrange 5.5 mm thick Galaxy Tab S5e or the new affordable Tab A models, some even with styli.
Last year, the Galaxy Tab S4 arrived with its own S Pen and that will also happen with the Tab S5 probably. The question is if the new stylus gets all the goodies that the Galaxy Note 10 does of it’s a last gen accessory. To be honest aside from expanding the Bluetooth remote control features, I have zero expectations from the new S Pen.
Galaxy Tab S5 is expected with a Quad HD 10.5 inch screen, 6 GB of RAM and Android 9.0 Pie with One UI on top. 128 GB of storage and a Super AMOLED panel are in the mix most likely, plus a large battery, microSD and a 13 megapixel back camera with LED flash. It’s not very clear if there’s glass at the back or not.
