Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 brings us a new leak every day it seems and now it’s time for a full and legit specs list, with a pretty impressive battery in the mix. IFA 2018 is coming up at the end of August, but we may see this gadget launched even sooner, on August 9th, with the Note 9. Let’s see what the Tab S4 has in stall for us.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor and will also bring 4 GB of LPDDR4X RAM, plus 64 GB of storage and a 16:10 Super AMOLED screen. That one has a 10.5 inch diagonal and offers a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. Samsung is going to include a 13 MP main camera here, plus an 8 MP selfie shooter upfront.

An iris scanner is also part of the package, an upgraded one that’s so good it replaces the Home button with fingerprint scanner from before. But back to the battery, that will be a 7300 mAh unit, the largest ever to be found on a Samsung Galaxy Tab S model. The predecessor, Tab S3 had a mere 6000 mAh unit and the Tab S2 went with a 5870 mAh one.

Up until now Samsung only held records in the video playback department of the Galaxy Tab A, not the Tab S. They may be gunning for that title too. The slate also brings USB Type-C connectivity, AKG audio tuning and support for DeX functionality as a second screen. Of course, there’s GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0 and other such standard options.

The OS is Android 8.1 Oreo with the latest Samsung Experience. Bixby could also show up with a dedicated button.
