Acer is a big presence at IFA and MWC every year and since we’re approaching the latter, they’re prepping some goodies. Among them we find the Acer Iconia One 8 (2018) tablet, which is an entry level model, with schematics just leaked online.

The Acer Iconia One 8 (2018) doesn’t seem to be very different from other Iconia One models. The leak happened via FCC, where the device got listed in official manner. The product should sport a metal back cover with rounded corners and a centrally positioned camera. There should also be a small speaker grille at the bottom right corner, while the audio jack and power plus volume buttons are placed at the top and right hand side.

FCC also revealed a part of the device’s specs, which are entry level as mentioned before. We’re dealing with a 1.3 GHz MediaTek MT8167A processor, 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage. There’s an 8 inch screen in the mix, with a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution, a 5 MP main camera and a 2 MP front shooter. The OS is Android of course, but no version is mentioned. It’s probably just Nougat and finally we also get a 4500 mAh battery.

Expect a price below $200.
