This summer we’ll get on the market a new HP X2 Spectre 12 tablet, product that gets revealed today in a couple of official pictures thanks to the guys from comparez-malin.fr. The succesor to the last model will be called HP X2 Spectre 12 (2017) and we’re getting here a new design and also some updates on the hardware.
First, we have a bigger 12.3 inch display (compared to the 12-inch panel found on the 2016 variant) with a 3000 x 2000 pixels resolution and IPS technology. There’s a 41.58Wh battery that promises up to 8 hours of lifetime and we’re getting support for Quick Charging (from 0% to 50% in just 30 minutes).
The tablet comes with an HP stylus pen in the box and a kickstand is found on the back of the device. Next we have a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, a 13-megapixel rear sensor, stereo speakers with Bang & Olufsen audio tech and Wi-Fi 802.11 ac + Bluetooth 4.2 with Miracast support.
Two USB Type-C ports are here, a microSD card reader and an Intel Iris Plus 640 graphics card. You should know that this tablet is made out of aluminum and that it weighs 780 grams or 1.150 grams with the keyboard dock attached. Two variants will be available and down below you have the prices for each one:
