Samsung’s Chromebook Pro has been listed for preorder on Amazon.com, after being unveiled quite some time ago, at CES 2017. The delay was probably caused by the necessary updates or tweaks that should make it run Android apps on Chrome OS.

Google is constantly updating the list of Chrome OS devices able to run Android apps and the Chromebok Pro should be on that list as well. The product which is now available for preorder on Amazon starts shipping on May 28th. This is a pretty light and slim machine, at 0.6 inches and 2.4 pounds, for a 12.3 incher. It comes with a Quad HD touchscreen display with a 3:2 aspect, as well as an Intel processor.

It’s got a full size keyboard, 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. The chipset should be an Intel Core m3 and we also get a 720p webcam, WiFi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.0. This notebook has a 39 Wh battery and USB Type-C/Thunderbolt (2) connectivity, as well as a microSD card slot. It’s priced at $550 and offers the tablet and notebook experience in one.

Samsung also bundles a stylus.
